Making Your Mark – developing you sense of place in the natural landscape through printmaking.

Facilitator – Deidre Hierlihy is a printmaker whos artwork has been inspired by nature –
landscape, gardens, chickens, flowers. She grew up in Ottowa, Canada and will be in residence
in Fermanagh from January – April 2019. This is part of the Fermanagh & Omagh District
Council’s Artsland programme  – specifically the International Artist in Residence aspect.

Whilst here at Common Ground Deidre will facilitate a process led series of workshops exploring various printmaking techniques including linoleum printmaking, lithography, mono printing and chine cólle.

The intenton is that some of the creativity will be directly influenced by our location – the Common Ground farm at Tattenabuddagh.

Artsland is funded by Fermanagh & Omagh District Council & the Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s National Lottery Fund.

Workshops are 100% free to atted.
Our series will run on Friday mornings from February 22nd to April 5th.
