The theme of the 2019 Gathering on 24th and 25th Aug is Grief and Joy in Time of Extinction.
This gathering is a creative community response to the emergent crisis which has been called The Sixth Great Extinction.
Together, we need to find ways of facing into the very uncertain future by supporting the best aspects of our humanity. We need to deepen established community bonds and work towards forming new ones.
The Gathering will be a safe clearing for self-expression and for time in the beauty of the land, a time for eating together and for socializing and a time for song, dance and spoken word. Children are welcome – under 16’s are free. This is a no alcohol and no drugs event.
